Telling Stories
Kevin Pilz is a photographer based in Ulm, Germany.
He initially started photography with the aim to shoot photos of his daughter back in 2013. However, there is more to this than that.
He wants to tell stories with his pictures. He wants his daughter to pick up pictures in 20 years from now and recall the story behind them.
Over time, he developed his own documentary style which he uses in his portrait- as well as street photography.
He draws his inspiration from the observation of the interaction between humans and environment. In his photographs, he puts people at the center, and at the same time, in contrast to the urban environment.
